So your personal watercraft has been sitting on your trailer longer than normal with it being winter. We are now at the time of the year where we are all eager to get out and use our skis but a lot of us will find that throughout winter our watercrafts have become more attached to our trailers than we would have liked.
The majority of trailers here in New Zealand have carpeted rails (rather than boat trailer type rollers) and after a while these becomes a bit of a struggle to get your ski on and off.
The easiest way to make your life a lot easier is to coat your runners with a silicon spray, this is the same silicon spray you may use on your engine, spray plenty on your runners so it soaks in.
You will be blown away by how easy your watercraft will now slide on and off your trailer. Doing this once or twice
a year is all it takes to keep it running smoothly.
