This week has seen twenty five jet skiers travel 600 kilometres in the 2014 Yamaha Melanoma Foundation Ski-nZ.
If you keep an eye on NZ Jetski you will have seen previous post about this amazing event, last year travelling from Tauranga to the Bay of Islands but this year the participants had an action-packed and fun filled week as they navigated the coastline eastbound from the stunning Whanganui Inlet, located west of Farewell Spit, to Nelson, French Pass, around D’Urville and Stephens Islands, then on to Picton, followed by a Cook Strait Crossing to finish in Wellington.
So far we have seen lots of amazing photos from our friends taking part in this great ride. Like normal jealousy has set-in in the NZ Jetski office, wish we were there taking part. Maybe next year?
I haven’t heard the full amount raised for the Melanoma Foundation, but have heard a rumour it will finish up over $90,000
