Raising funds for another great cause – Westpac Rescue, Jetskifishing New Zealand is hosting another fun event for Jetskifisho’s and family. 14 September 2014
This event was hugely popular last year. It is a fun ride to see which Jetskifisho raises the most funds for Westpac Rescue and which Jetskifishing rider and craft sets betters their personal best or sets a first timer bench mark.
To be eligible, previous years fundraisers have first right of refusal for entry and note this is only for Jetskifishers.
New fundraisers must meet the following conditions
* own your jet-ski set up for fishing, complete with a minimum size of a 35 litre bin system attached for the start of the ride. All entrants are required to have a net of 800 minimum height included, with a fishing rod and reel combo of 5ft minimum on display with their rod holder at the exit for the ride.
* minimum of three months Jetskifishing experience or verification of 7 fish overall being caught while enjoying the sport, unless previously participated or invited in a King of Jetskifishing event.
There will be three classes and depending on weather conditions, the course is selected the evening before, based on wind direction.(this is not a fair weather event, there will be a challenging factor, as we experience on a daily basis with our sport)
1. Supercharged and Turbo
2. Naturally Aspirated
3. Master (50+) All stock Supercharged, Turbo and Naturally Aspirated
This event will be plenty of fun for our Jetskifishing community and funds raised by individual riders will be donated to a cause that our Jetskifisho’s depend on while out enjoying our sport.
To qualify, fundraise $200 each, minimum from individual sponsors for Westpac Rescue.
25 maximum ski entries for this event.
Cheers, Andrew Hill
