The man that headed up the fleet of jetski’s that tried to ride from London to Auckland late last year has now set a new world record.
Jeremy Burfoot (from Auckland) set the world record at Lake Karapiro for the longest distance covered non-stop on a jet ski in 24 hours.
He completed 2288 kilometre in 24-hour, on a brand new Sea-doo which he rode on a satellite-fixed course and only stopping every 55 minutes to refuel.
Burfoot is all about raising awareness about melanoma for his ‘ The Ultimate Ride Charitable Trust’.
