It’s that time to go fast again! Have you ever wanted to go flat-out through some amazing North Island scenery? This year is the 30th year this event has been held.
Boats and water skiers race on the 30th of November and 1st of December 2013 and the jetski race is on the 1st of December 2013 racing from Hamilton to Ngaruawahia and back.
The race distance is 20.1km each way (40.2km return) and puts man against machine. This makes it similar to other jetski racing where speed isn’t the be all and end all. Riders need their ski to be reliable and this plays a large part as you can’t win if you don’t finish. So no matter what you ride, fill it up with gas and come and compete.
There will be a few first time racers this year, so don’t be scared to come along and be involved.
