BRP WINS SKI OF THE YEAR FOR THIRD STRAIGHT YEAR

“Simply put, the Sea-Doo GTI 130 watercraft just offers so much…for so little.”

Valcourt, QC, July 16, 2013–BRPclaims the 2013 “Ski of the Year” award from PWCToday.com and Watercraft Superstore for the third consecutive year, continuing to lead the personal watercraft (PWC) industry in product recognition. This is the second time this particular model, the Sea-Doo GTI PWC, has won.

PWC enthusiasts’ forum, PWCToday.com and parent company Watercraft Superstore teamed with award-winning marine journalist Jeff Hemmel to conduct an on-water test with six of the watercraft industry’s most popular models before choosing BRP’s Sea-Doo GTI 130 as their 2013 “Ski of the Year” winner.

“Simply put, the Sea-Doo GTI 130 watercraft just offers so much…for so little,” explained the staff of PWCToday.com. “Its features are in many ways revolutionary, yet at the same time decidedly practical. Its style is cutting edge, not cheap looking. Its combination of power and handling will satisfy the pure newcomer, but still offers thrills necessary to please experienced riders.”

BRP’s Sea-Doo GTI 130 PWC provides greater peace of mind for watercraft riders and their families with iBR (Intelligent Brake & Reverse) technology, the only on-water braking system for added manoeuvrability and control. The GTI 130 model is ideal for families as it offers playful handling while delivering more than enough power to enjoy multiple forms of watersports fun.

“BRP is committed to developing and marketing the best products in the industry and that effort goes into every model in the Sea-Doo watercraft line,” said Yves Leduc, vice-president and general manager, North America division. “The Sea-Doo GTI 130 model and its owners are the beneficiaries of premium iControl technologies that extended from our premium models to our recreational segment. This award is a tribute to BRP’s dedication to delivering the best possible boating experience to the widest possible audience.”

NZ RRP = SEA-DOO GTI 130 | $16,739 (27/7/13)
