Kiwi Sam Harvey is at Lake Havasu, Arizona to defend his world number one title.
This time last year Sam managed to get the first place trophy after 2 years of trying at the world finals.
Sam was the first privateer to ever manage this success which is an amazing effort without the backing of a PWC manufacturer.
This year Sam will be riding a new Seadoo, which has been prepared by PWC tuning experts Seadoo Centre in Melbourne, based on the new Seadoo GTX-S3 hull which has been lightening and will have power of around 430 to 450hp, and a top speed of 137kph.
I would like to wish Sam and all the other Kiwis involved in this event all the best and do us proud!
